One of the long time stable stars of the Michael Clout stable is "Cooder", pictured with model Tanya Lazarou. Cooder, by Secrets Savings out of Brown Teal, was retired in 2008 at the age of nine after being one of the most outstanding performers for the stable over a number of years. Purchased by Michael at the Brisbane Bloodstock Sales for a modest $34,000, and syndicated amongst some long term stable clients, Cooder proved well up to city class with his finishing burst in which he could reel off very impressive sectionals. |
